Pioneering manufacturer is training the industry to create safer high rise buildings

ACS Stainless Steel and Fixings has launched a free education programme, helping architects and those in the construction sector create safe and sustainable buildings.

The accredited CPD programme will enhance industry knowledge across a variety of construction-based topics – helping attendees stay up to date with the latest products and regulatory requirements.

The programme will take the form of regular webinars accessible by all in the sector, with more than 420 delegates having signed up for the first sessions. One module is already CPD UK accredited with others to follow; ACS Strategic Specification

Director Paul Ruding explained:

“It is our mission to arm the construction sector with the products and knowledge it needs to create high rise buildings that are safe and sustainable.

“Since the tragic events of Grenfell in 2017, we have continued to reinvest our profits back into ACS, with research and development into new products that can be used by developers looking to create high rise structures that are non-combustible and meet changing government legislation.

“We now want to go a step further, and play our part in encouraging responsible UK building, educating our industry peers with this new, accredited programme.”

ACS is a leading Yorkshire manufacturer and designer of structural building components, providing patented innovative solutions, including masonry support and brick panel solutions – essential construction components used in construction of the largest modern-day projects in the UK.
