EDGE Strengthens Public Sector Portfolio with Government Commercial Agency Framework Appointment
EDGE, a leading multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, has been appointed to the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) framework – formerly known as the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework.
One of 31 firms selected nationally to support on a new project management lot within the GCA’s Construction Professional Services 2 (CPS2) framework, EDGE can now be procured by all central government departments and UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and devolved administrations.
The four‑year GCA framework provides a compliant procurement route for the delivery of major public sector construction programmes. Under the appointment, EDGE is able to access a range of project management, programme management and associated services to support the successful leadership and delivery of public sector construction projects and programmes.
With seven regional offices, creating a north-to-south spine running the length of the UK, EDGE supports public sector organisations at both local and national level. The consultancy works in partnership with clients to address shared challenges around financial pressure, portfolio and estate optimisation, sustainability, and the transition to net zero.
The appointment reinforces EDGE’s credibility as a compliant, trusted supplier, enabling public sector bodies to access its expertise quickly and confidently through a recognised framework.
Unjulee Karadia, Framework Lead at EDGE, commented:
“We’re proud to have been chosen by the Government Commercial Agency and look forward to continuing to grow strong relationships with public sector bodies across the UK.
“As a business, we combine strong regional investment with national reach, bringing a clear understanding of the priorities and pressures facing public sector organisations nationwide.”
Matt Hill, Managing Director at EDGE, said:
“EDGE is now firmly established as a trusted partner across the public sector, combining deep sector insight with the capability to support organisations with evolving priorities and challenges.
“Frameworks create real value through simpler procurement, faster project starts, and stronger assurance on cost, quality, and delivery.”
The appointment adds to EDGE’s existing public sector portfolio and framework positions, including experience with NHS Shared Business Services (SBS), Fusion21, Procure Partnerships, PAGABO and ESPO.
Working across 17 core sectors, EDGE brings decades of sector-specialist knowledge to all its public sector projects, with a tailored approach focused on delivering innovation and value for money.
