Construction work has now started on a new development in Goffs Oak which will bring 66 new homes to the area.

The Cedarbrook Rise scheme, being built by Bellway on land off Burton Lane, was given the go-ahead by councillors earlier this year.

The project will provide a variety of homes from Bellway’s Artisan Collection, including two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale alongside one-bedroom apartments and two and three-bedroom houses provided as affordable housing for local people.

The first of the houses are due to be released for sale at an off-site launch event in the spring, with a sales centre and showhome set to open on site later in the summer.
