„AND THE OSCAR GOES TO… – BIKINI BERLIN!“

BIKINI BERLIN has won the Oscar of the property industry, the Gold FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany 2015 in the ‘Commercial’ category

On Friday 18th September 2015 during a celebratory gala at the Ritz Carlton Berlin, the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany 2015, described by the Wall Street Journal as the “the Oscars of the property world” were officially presented. BIKINI BERLIN was awarded the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany 2015 in Gold in the ‘Commercial’ category. The award was proudly received by Dr. Jürgen Büllesbach, Chairman of the Executive Board of Bayerische Hausbau. By selecting BIKINI BERLIN for the prize, the jury of twelve experts have confirmed the success of the ambitious construction project. The prize, which is awarded by the Bundesverband Freier Immobilien- und Wohnungsunternehmen e.V. (Federal Association of Independent Real Estate and Housing Companies) and FIABCI Germany (International Real Estate Federation), is given to outstanding project developments in the categories ‘Commercial’ and ‘Residential’ and is one of the most sought-after prizes in the real-estate industry.

“Of course it makes us very proud that BIKINI BERLIN has prevailed against numerous competitors from the whole of Germany and that we have been chosen to receive this renowned prize for our ambitious project. With the BIKINI BERLIN building complex, we have acquired a piece of contemporary history at one of the most symbolic locations in Berlin, which means we are also under obligation to treat it responsibly. We have invested a lot of heart and soul into this project with the aim of developing sustainable urban living and working spaces. Receiving this accolade confirms that we have been successful in our mission,” says Dr. Jürgen Büllesbach.

The FIABCI Prix d’Excellence is an international competition and Germany is now the fifteenth country to award it. The FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Germany was initiated under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer in 2014. Like last year, this year’s Gold winners also qualify to enter the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence, representing Germany.
