PULSE CONSULT HAS BEEN NAMED AS A SUPPLIER ON GOVERNMENT COMMERCIAL AGENCY’S RM6356 FRAMEWORK

PULSE Consult has accelerated its public sector expansion by being named as a supplier on Government Commercial Agency’s (GCA) RM6356 Construction Professional Services Framework.

In a significant move for the consultancy, Pulse is now a supplier on Lot 3 for Project Management and Lot 4 for Commercial Management, notably achieving the highest possible scores for quality in both categories.

This four-year appointment marks a shift in the procurement landscape, where agile, specialist service is now backed by national-scale accreditation under the government’s streamlined commercial delivery arm.

As a newly unified executive agency of the Cabinet Office, Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation.

Ian Carey, managing director at Pulse Consult, said: “Securing top marks for quality on the GCA framework proves that our scale is our greatest asset. We provide the personal accountability and director-led service of a specialist firm, but with the proven technical capacity to deliver national infrastructure. This appointment allows us to offer a high-calibre, responsive alternative to the traditional large-scale consultancies that have historically dominated this space.”

To ensure comprehensive UK-wide delivery, Pulse is committed to a collaborative model that utilises deep regional expertise. This includes working alongside specialist partners, Doig+Smith in Scotland and Rainey & Best in Northern Ireland. The approach ensures that public sector clients receive the rigorous compliance of a national framework combined with the essential boots-on-the-ground intelligence required for local projects.

Ian added: “This appointment is a cornerstone of our broader national growth strategy. It builds on a streak of recent national framework successes with Fusion21, ESPO and Procure Partnerships, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted partner for both framework providers and the public sector.

“We are proud to support the government’s mandate to diversify the public sector supply chain while deepening our existing relationships with local authorities across the country such as Leicester, Lincoln, Stratford-upon-Avon and the London Borough of Suffolk.”

The GCA success also mirrors the growing influence of Pulse in the residential sector, where it has also secured recent frameworks for major providers including Platform Housing Group, The Guinness Partnership, Hyde Housing and Sovereign Network Group. By leveraging its status to provide an agile, senior-led service, Pulse is positioned to continue its rapid scaling across both public and private sectors nationwide.
