Wren Kitchens taking the contracts market by storm
Wren, the UK’s number one kitchen retailer, has expanded its expertise into the contract, property development and social housing sectors. Known for their affordable luxury kitchens and fitted bedrooms, Wren Contracts is rapidly establishing its reputation as the brand of choice. From housebuilds to high-rise and social housing to unique one-off developments, Wren has the scale and expertise to take on projects large and small.
Kitchens and bedrooms for every budget
“Depending on the scale, budget and style of your development project, your first port of call is to meet with a member of our Contract Sales team, who will take you through the extensive options available to you to identify the best styles, colours and finishes that fit with your overall project expectations,” advises Damian Sheridan, sales director for Wren Contracts.
The EasyFit kitchen range includes Wren’s most popular designs and styles, all fully built to a high standard in their UK factories and quick to install. Infinity and Infinity Plus are premium made-to-order ranges with more than 2,000 designs and colours to choose from.
There are two collections to choose from within Wren’s range of affordable luxury fitted bedrooms. The Infinity collection includes their best-loved designs, combining quality with classic styles. Infinity Plus features a range of bespoke luxury bedrooms made to order in their UK factories.
Lead times that lead the way
All Wren kitchens, bedrooms and quartz worktops are designed, manufactured and delivered in-house, ensuring the highest standards throughout its supply chain with the shortest lead times. Wren own the key elements of its supply chain including transport and delivery. Their nationwide delivery service is scheduled to fit around the site’s programmes, rather than deliveries that suit a pre-determined journey plan. All products are unloaded by Wren teams and transported to the correct, secure plot with a direct to room delivery service. A dedicated delivery team attends the development prior to delivery to check local roads, routes into plots and any other specific details.
Award-winning delivery
Wren’s award-winning installation team is BiKBBi and FIRA International Gold accredited, testament to their exemplary levels of workmanship, attention to detail and adherence to health & safety, just one element that sets Wren apart from its competitors. All installers are overseen by dedicated Installation Managers who personally manage no more than 10 sites, ensuring that Wren Contract’s class leading management service is not compromised.
Adding to this, Sheridan says: “Our professional behaviour, positive and efficient response to issues, and single-point contact approach keeps things simple and ensures we’re the contractor that’s easy to deal with. It’s for these reasons, many housebuilders prove to be repeat customers for orders and contracts.”
A reliable partner
Wren Contracts continues to set the highest standards, ensuring that house builders and developers, both large and small, can trust in their commitment to delivering excellence at every stage. Work was recently completed for Cala Homes at their Barden Croft development in Tonbridge where 125 kitchens were supplied and fitted.
Sharing feedback on Wren’s first install at Barden Croft, Tony Jenner, Project Manager, said: “From site measure to sign off the whole process was carried out to the highest standards. Delivery was carried out with the highest respect for the plots, with protection installed to the front door and units placed in build-order to make it easier for the installer. Installation was carried out to the highest standard and protection was the best I have seen in a long time. Supervision was top class, I can’t remember seeing so many people doing checks. Replacements were delivered in a few days and fitted straight away. The whole experience using Wren was a delight.”
A greener future
Beyond commercial success, Wren is deeply committed to environmental sustainability. From TripleTrunking and advanced route planning (which reduces road miles and emissions 60%+ compared to conventional delivery and routing methods), to switching to water-based paints (from solvent based), sourcing raw materials from sustainable supplies, recycling and biodiversity projects – their programme is extensive and diverse. Their roadmap is on track to achieve carbon neutral status by 2030, demonstrating a genuine and proactive concern for the planet and future generations.
Wren is currently working with Taylor Wimpey at a number of sites across the UK. Projects are ongoing with Cala and Wain too. Wren is also an approved supplier for Berkeley Group, Barratt Homes, McGoff Construction, Ardmore and many more within the property development sector.
