UCEM launches full-time online Built Environment BSc programmes

Students can now complete UCEM’s online BSc programmes in three years thanks to the institution’s newly launched full-time offer. Full-time programmes available include BSc (Hons) Building Surveying, BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying, BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management and BSc (Hons) Construction Management.

The new offer, available from autumn 2020, will mean students can study three modules at one time as opposed to two and get ahead with their studies if they are not in full-time employment.

There is also the flexibility to return to two modules per semester should a student’s personal circumstances change, requiring them to revert to UCEM’s existing part-time offer.

UCEM’s Director of Commercial and Business Development, Stephen Bartle, commented:

“As a specialist online provider we’ve been exploring options to make our degree programmes as accessible and flexible as possible to support the demand within the sector.

“Our new full-time BSc programmes in particular would benefit school leavers looking for a high-quality online degree and may also appeal to those on furlough or out of work who would like to upskill, with the option to revert to part-time study when they are back in work.

“Our online programmes are hosted on our state-of-the-art virtual learning environment and can be accessed by students across the world.

“This is the first of a few new offers we plan to launch over the next few months as we do all we can to support the Built Environment during this difficult time.” The next BSc start date is 5 October, 2020, with an application deadline of 24 August, 2020.
