Stunning rural site near Kinross is setting for new DM Hall residential development opportunity with full planning consent for seven homes

An idyllic location in Kinross-shire is the site of a new residential development opportunity being marketed by the rural services division of DM Hall Chartered Surveyors.
The village of Carnbo around 6 miles west of Kinross is described as a tranquil rural hamlet in a peaceful countryside setting and is the location of a development site extending to around 1.54 acres, with full planning consent for seven homes.
DM Hall is marketing the site with a guide price of £450,000 and says the surrounding area boasts scenic landscapes that are ideal for outdoor pursuits.
“This really is such a gorgeous setting,” says Jennifer Campbell, Head of Rural Agency at DM Hall. “It’s an idyllic location with open views over the surrounding countryside, in an established residential hamlet, enjoying a southerly aspect.
“The development has been thoughtfully designed to include a mix of house types, creating a well-balanced residential development, sympathetic to its surroundings and optimising the delightful countryside views.”
Ms Campbell said the beauty of this site was matched by its accessibility, with easy access to the M90 motorway, meaning convenient commutes to Edinburgh, Perth and beyond.
Shops, restaurants and healthcare facilities are nearby in Kinross and Milnathort. Schools in the catchment area include Fossoway Primary School, about 1.6 miles away, and Kinross High School, around 3.8 miles away.
The first two of Carnbo’s seven plots will be cottage-style homes similar to properties sitting opposite. The remaining five plots are designed to accommodate significant and spacious four-bedroom family homes, each with integrated or detached garages.
“Quality rural housing like this is in high demand and we expect a lot of interest,” Ms Campbell said.
The planning permission granted includes the formation of a new vehicular access, landscaping, and associated infrastructure. The two cottage-style homes are to the left of this new entrance road and the other five plots are to the south.
