Red Rhino and PG Site Services celebrate five years of partnership

Red Rhino, a UK manufacturer of crushers and screeners, is continuing to strengthen its relationship with PG Site Services, marking over five years of collaboration.

PG Site Services, a trusted plant hire company, initially purchased from Red Rhino at the Hillhead show in 2018. More recently, the family-run business was amongst the first to invest in Red Rhino’s flagship 8000 Crusher.

David Goodger, Managing Director of PG Site Services Limited, explained the reasoning behind their continued investment: “We need machines that offer top performance for our customers, and Red Rhino machines are built to handle anything. They’re made locally in Lincolnshire, and the fact that they’re a British built machine was important to us.”

The Red Rhino 8000 has proven particularly valuable for PG Site Services’ urban projects. “It’s ideal for use in inner cities,” said Goodger. “It’s a much more compact, city-size crusher that can be delivered on a rigid lorry rather than an articulated lorry. This makes it far more accessible for projects in London and various cities around the UK.” For PG Site Services, the ongoing support received from Red Rhino is invaluable: “They cover our sites nationally with a reliable, dependable backup service and parts.”

Despite its compact dimensions, the 8000 delivers impressive performance. “The Red Rhino 8000 can output up to 100 tonnes per hour,” commented Job Winfield, Director at Red Rhino. “It was extensively tested in the field before launch, and tackles large demolition jobs with ease. The beauty of the RR 8000 is that it can compete head-to-head with far larger crushers, but with better accessibility.”

Red Rhino’s 8000 Crusher features an 800mm x 500mm jaw aperture, hydraulically driven vibrating tray, wireless remote control system, and foldable grizzly feeder sides. Like all Red Rhino  crushers and screeners, the RR 8000 is manufactured at the company’s 45,000-square-foot facility in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

2025 marked five years of our partnership with PG Site Services, and for both Red Rhino and PG Site Services, the partnership is stronger than ever. Job Winfield commented: “Long-standing partnerships like our relationship with PG Site Services showcase what Red Rhino is all about: Quality British manufacturing, machines that provide years of reliable performance, and support that continues far beyond purchase.”
