Francis Hunter appoints Associate Director to focus on landlord projects

Opens London office to support new division

Simon Collins joins Francis Hunter to head up the new landlord division and brings with him more than 17 years’ project management experience.

Collins joins Francis Hunter from WeWork, the global co-working office provider. At WeWork, he delivered more than 800,000 sq ft of fast-track CAT A & B projects across Europe in three and a half years, worth over £150 million in CapEx spend. His most recent project was the refurbishment of No. 1 Poultry, London, the youngest listed building in England.

Prior to that, he was with Arcadia managing its UK head-office portfolio. As well as managing fit-out projects, Collins also relocated more than 6,000 people across London and the UK.

In addition to its Surrey HQ, Francis Hunter has opened an office in central London which will specifically focus on the landlord work as well as business development.

To lead this business development, Francis Hunter has appointed Katherine Pout as Business Development Manager. Katherine has more than ten years’ experience in account management, sales and business strategy having previously worked in interior design and with office furniture providers.

Matt Harris, director at Francis Hunter, said: “Simon and Kat are great additions to the team. Working alongside our chairman David Nurser, we believe we’re perfectly placed to support landlords in their property portfolios.”

Simon Collins said: “I’m excited to join Francis Hunter and start building on their considerable success from the past ten years. “
