Crick trailer sales are striving to offer a safer working environment in the tipper marketplace, with the Sliding bogie tipper trailer, The trailer is designed to compete directly against the 8 wheel rigid tipper. The sliding bogie tipper shortens by over a metre which vastly improves tipping stability and makes manoeuvring in tight yards much easier. The trailer has been tested and certified on the tilt bed at Chobham test facility at 8.5 degrees, fully loaded. This is achieved through the strength of the chassis, wide tipping hinge pins and the shortening of the chassis. The sliding bogie tipper in its extended position can legally carry a payload of up to 29.5t which is around 50% greater than an 8 wheel rigid, so this reduces vehicle movements, reduces fuel costs and labour costs, as the sliding bogie tipper can transport the same payload as three 8 wheel rigid tippers with just two sliding bogie tipping trailers.
