Acivico Group, a Birmingham-based built environment consultancy, has relocated to new premises in the city signalling its rapid growth and need for more space to accommodate an expanding team.

The growing firm recently put pen to paper on a two year lease agreement at one of the city’s largest office developments, 10 Brindleyplace, allowing for over 150 staff members from across the UK to use the space.

Established in 2012, Acivco Group provides a comprehensive range of construction related services to clients across the West Midlands region and has worked on landmark projects with some of the region’s biggest organisations, including West Midlands Combined Authority, University of Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre.

Marina Robertson, Managing Director at Acivico Group, said:

“The move to 10 Brindleyplace is a testament to our continued growth as a business and strong level of commitment to leaving a lasting impression on the wider region.

“Our new office will provide a larger area for enhanced collaboration and team learning, as well as space to better cater for the needs of new clients and match our ambitious plans for future growth.”

Building on the success of Local Authority Delivery Phase 3 (LAD3) , a pioneering £7 million retrofit programme of nearly 700 domestic properties in the city, the Group are growing their sustainability team to help deliver the region’s decarbonisation strategy.

Acivico’s work on the LAD3 project recently took home The Retrofit Social Value Award at the Retrofit Academy Awards CIC 2024 and has been shortlisted in the Regeneration and Retrofit category for the Constructing West Midlands awards in May.

Comprising 24 private offices across 27,000 square feet, 10 Brindleyplace was Birmingham’s largest office development to be completed in 2023. Amenities include private studios and co-working space for more than 500 people, meeting rooms, a coffee shop, and open air roof terraces.

The building, managed by Spacemade, has been awarded a string of recent certifications – including being named Birmingham’s first office building to receive Fitwel accreditation – a standard that measures occupant health and wellbeing.

Cat Mole, Community Associate at 10X by Spacemade, said:

“Acivico Group is one of the largest companies we have with us at 10X with over 150 employees on a rotating desk schedule so play a key part in our ever-growing coworking community.
