Kier reappointed to £125m Norfolk County Council Major Construction Work Framework
Kier has been reappointed to the Norfolk County Council Major Construction Work Framework. This framework replaces the previous Norfolk County Council Framework and has a combined value of £125m across two banded Lots. Kier secured a place on Lot 2 for projects valued above £3.5m.
The four-year framework will be open to public sector bodies across Norfolk. It will oversee the procurement of a range of new build and refurbishment schemes across education, waste, corporate property, adult social care and children’s services.
The framework will support the delivery of Norfolk County Council’s strategy ‘Norfolk Futures’ and its vision for public sector provision across the county.
Mark Dady, managing director at Kier Regional Building Eastern, said: “We’re very pleased to have been reappointed to the Norfolk County Council Major Construction Work Framework. It builds on our expertise in delivering public sector work across the region and we look forward to working closely with the public sector bodies to deliver vital projects procured through the framework.” Kier was appointed to the previous iteration of the Norfolk County Council Framework through which it recently delivered White House Farm Primary School, a two-storey, 2,500m2 school with 14 classrooms and a number of facilities including a main hall, kitchen and ancillary accommodation
