Mott MacDonald appoints Doug Wilson as global sector leader for advisory services
Mott MacDonald has appointed Doug Wilson as its new global sector leader for advisory services. Doug will be responsible for delivering the company’s group sector strategy to achieve sustainable growth in its project, programme and commercial management; project finance and economics and asset management advisory services, across its core territories and prioritised market sectors.
Doug has more than 30 years’ experience in developing and delivering government and private sector programmes and projects, across the full life cycle. With a background in the defence industry, he has delivered success across the transport, energy, utilities and built environment sectors. He has held several business management roles, most recently his leadership of Mott MacDonald’s global international development business, delivering programmes in education, health, utilities and economic development, with a primary focus across Africa and Asia.
Doug has made it his priority to lead Mott MacDonald in contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals across fragile, conflict affected and developing nations, focused on delivering positive social outcomes.
Prior to this, Doug led the development of Mott MacDonald’s capabilities in the advisory sector across the UK.
