Sophia Stylianou

Construction consultancy Pulse Consult has reinforced its national hotel sector expertise with the appointment of Sophia Stylianou as the company’s first female director.

Sophia brings over 20 years of experience across contractor and consultancy roles, delivering high-value luxury hotel projects including The Savoy, The Peninsula, and several major Mayfair and Shoreditch developments.

At Pulse, she will lead growth in London-based client relationships and provide strategic cost consultancy across complex hotel projects, helping clients manage costs, reduce risk, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Sophia said: “I’ve always been drawn to the challenge of turning complex hotel designs into fully operational spaces. From front-of-house to back-of-house, each detail matters, and I’m excited to bring that experience to Pulse. Joining a close-knit team allows me to combine strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving, helping our clients achieve ambitious goals while keeping projects on time and on budget.”

We’re looking at creative ways to add value, from optimising cost structures to enhancing operational workflows. Over the next few years, my focus will be on helping Pulse become the recognised name for hotel consultancy in the UK, and on ensuring every project we touch delivers maximum impact for clients.”

Pulse Consult remains committed to providing expert support to hotel projects of all scales, helping clients turn ambitious plans into operational, high-quality destinations.
