Chasetown-based company, Tara Group, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with UK charity, Sense, for 2024.

Tara Group, which consists of Cameron Homes, Chasetown Civil Engineering and Keon Homes, has sponsored the national disability charity that supports people living with complex disabilities, including deafblindness, to communicate and experience the world.

The announcement of the 12-month long partnership follows the group’s previous support for the charity when it provided funding via its charitable trust, The Noel Sweeney Foundation, to create a new sensory garden at at Sense TouchBase Pears, the charity’s centre in Selly Oak, Birmingham..

The fully accessible garden, which is dedicated in memory to Tara Group’s founder, Noel Sweeney, is now open following funding and on-site support from the team at group.

This year, Tara Group is sponsoring Sense Active, the physical activity programme at Sense which is dedicated to empowering people with complex disabilities to lead active and healthy lives, and has been primarily funded by Sport England. In addition to the sponsorship, team members from Tara Group will undertake a number of initiatives and fundraising activities throughout the year for the charity, including participation in some of the UK’s most high-profile marathons and being the official sponsor of Sense Ride London cyclists, and Sense London Marathon runners 2025.
