Work begins on new homes development coming to Pershore

William Davis’ team on site at the new Mirabelle Park development in Pershore

Construction work has started on a 21.6-acre parcel of land on which developer William Davis Homes will deliver 94 new homes in Pershore.

The land, located off Wyre Road in the town, will be developed into a collection of new housing which is set to be opened to the public in early 2027.

Loughborough-based William Davis is continuing its expansion across the West Midlands, following recent new sites opened in Burton Green and Warwick, with this new development in Pershore which is to be known as Mirabelle Park.

The development will comprise a mix of two to five-bedroom homes, of which 40 per cent will be provided as affordable housing, as part of the planning application approved by Wychavon District Council earlier this year.

Dan Endersby, chief operating officer for William Davis Homes, said: “Mirabelle Park will become a very attractive addition to the landscape in Pershore and we are very proud to be the developer entrusted with delivering the scheme.

“More than just building new homes, for which William Davis is renowned, we’re committed to enhancing the local area and the wider community in the areas we build.

“Our portfolio is growing in the West Midlands and Pershore is the next location to benefit from the five-star quality which is expected of a William Davis development.”

Local services and infrastructure across Pershore will benefit from the new housing development to the tune of over £870,000, which will be contributed by William Davis as part of the planning agreement through a Community Infrastructure Levy and a Section 106 agreement.

Almost £475,000 will be provided by the developer in S106 contributions, including £183,438 for an off-site formal sports provision, £92,452 towards education, and £62,400 for primary healthcare.

A significant amount of green space will surround the development, while biodiversity features including bird boxes, bat boxes and bee bricks, buried hibernacula and the addition of hedgehog highways will all enhance the local environment.

William Davis intends to release the first homes for sale at Mirabelle Park in early 2027, before the first homes are ready for occupation later next year.
