St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics is continuing to add to its Midlands offering with a further three units, scaling more than 160,000 sq ft, at its site in Tamworth.

The erection of steelworks has now commenced on two 48,800 sq ft units – which can be combined to make 97,600 sq ft – and one 63,000 sq ft unit, all of which will be ready for occupation in May 2021.

St. Modwen’s latest builds form part of the third phase of development at the prime 32-acre site, which is also home to St. Modwen’s biggest ever speculative industrial and logistics unit, covering 321,000 sq ft.

With further development planned, the entire scheme is expected to create around 1,700 new jobs in the region once complete.
