Skanska win $52M contract for Washington University Plant Sciences Building

Skanska is to build a new building at a campus of Washington State University (WSU). It has signed a US$52m contract to build the Plant Sciences Building at the WSU Pullman campus.

The four-story building will house an open, modular wet-lab space; shared support functions; and office space for principal investigators, staff and research assistants. The contract involves the construction of an approximately 83,000 sq ft facility to carry out plant science research.

2020 has been given as the year construction is scheduled to be completed.
