Limegate Ltd – industry experts in specialist surfacing – were awarded Highly Commended in the Large Industrial Project of the Year category at the FeRFA Best Practice Awards 2019 – FeRFA’s 50^th anniversary year. The accolade- the prestigious and only honour in this classification – recognised Limegate Ltd’s exceptional work at the 9,700m²Big Motoring World project in Peterborough.

During the glittering event, which was held on Friday 29th November at the De Vere East Midlands Conference Centre & Orchard Hotel in Nottingham, the great and the good of the resin flooring industry gathered to celebrate standards and acknowledge achievements.

The judges appreciated that Limegate Ltd had confidently met the brief set by Big Motoring World, which was to install a UV resistant, low maintenance system with a 10-year life expectancy – destined to become the foundation of the car dealer’s new National Vehicle Preparation Centre. Providing the quality, finish and durability for the project was the RESDEV Deckmaster System ID – seamlessly executed by the skilled Limegate team.

Also recognised was how Limegate Ltd had excelled in delivering a new resin floor in challenging conditions, which saw the flooring specialist have its installation deadline reduced from 10 to 5 weeks. Also influencing the nature of the project was the state of the existing floor and the live site working conditions. Thanks to Limegate’s project management skills, resources and tenacity, a new resin floor was delivered in time as part of this wider £14m regeneration of this key industrial location.
