Kori Construction strengthens board with construction director role

LEADING main contractor Kori Construction has strengthened its board of directors with the appointment of Scott Bartlett.

Scott, who joined the business in 2020 and has been instrumental in developing the operational delivery team, has been appointed to the role of construction director.

The move is one of several promotions made by the Corby-based contractor as it continues to deliver ongoing growth in the care home, later living, and multiroom sectors.

Under the changes, Patrick Harris and Craig Smallman have become senior contracts managers; Paul Cannon has been promoted to senior project manager; Chris Wright becomes senior site manager; and Henry Barrow has been promoted to senior estimator.

New hire Jason Wells also joins Kori Construction as contracts manager.

Managing director Jordan Connachie congratulated Scott on joining Kori’s board of directors.

He said: “Scott has built a fantastic team that has successfully delivered more than 1000 beds and has built strong relationships with our client base.

“He is well regarded for his hands-on approach and ability to get stuff done – just what we like.

“Appointing Scott to the board was an easy decision and on behalf of the Directors I would like to congratulate him on this achievement. It reinforces the business’s already strong board, putting us in great shape for the future.”

Scott joined the business – at the time SAC Construction – as senior contracts manager before being promoted to head of construction as the business developed.

He said he was delighted to have been promoted to the board and to be playing a role in driving the business forward.

Scott said: “The transformation of SAC Construction into Kori Construction has been huge and has put the business on a national growth trajectory that is building year on year.

“Playing a part in that transformation as head of construction has been a fantastic experience. However, joining the board gives me the opportunity to help spearhead the ongoing growth of Kori Construction which is very exciting.

“Kori has a diverse and competent board, and between us we are looking forward to delivering on our growth aspirations in the later living and multi-room sectors.”
