Goldfinch Developments complete first care home project
Care home construction company Goldfinch Developments, has completed their first project.
Chamberlain Court, a 72-bed Hallmark care home in Royal Tunbridge Wells held its official grand launch event on Tuesday 11th July with guest of honour, television presenter and Alzheimer’s Society ambassador Fiona Phillips.
As part of the grand launch event, guests were invited to view the home’s state-of-the-art facilities, which include a £50,000 cinema room and whole home audio visual package installation, hairdressers, barbers, therapy room and café.
Other design innovations include; enhanced assisted bathrooms featuring walk in and musical therapy baths and the unique Buckingham suite on the third floor of the home with an adjoining terrace, which can be hired out by residents and their relatives for functions and special events.
Managing director of Goldfinch Developments, Kevin Storey said: “We are proud to have delivered this prestigious new home for Hallmark Care Homes.
“They have shown enormous faith by selecting us to complete this three-year build project for them, which was interrupted when the building contractor went into administration.
“We are extremely pleased with the result, which has come together through team work and months on hard work.”

Goldfinch Developments are currently on site in Girton, Cambridge working on their second project with Hallmark Care Homes, an 85-bed care home due to be opened in early 2018. They are also on site in Sleaford, Lincolnshire for Glenholme Senior Living after having located the site, helped with the design development process and offered engineering solutions. This is scheduled to open in late summer 2018.
