GAI qualifications success reflects Zoo Hardware’s commitment to technical expertise

Zoo Hardware, a leading manufacturer of architectural door hardware, is celebrating five of its team members achieving Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) qualifications, as part of the company’s commitment to professional development and technical expertise.

Andy Hullock, Product Support Manager, achieved a Distinction in the Stage 3 Diploma in Electric Hardware and Access Control, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and skill in this critical and growing area of the industry.

Additionally, Area Sales Manager, Bobby McCartney; Internal Sales Advisor, Megan Young; and Senior Internal Sales Advisor, Jordan Mitchinson, each earned Credit in their Stage 2 Certificates in Architectural Hardware. Area Sales Manager, Hayley Cotterill, also successfully completed her Stage 1 Certificate in Architectural Hardware with a Pass.

The GAI qualifications programme is the only one of its kind that offers an in-depth understanding of architectural ironmongery in line with British and European standards, and provides professionals with the necessary tools and expertise to specify and schedule products in a way that meets the rigorous demands of today’s building projects.

Commenting on the success of the team, Angela Griffin, Head of Marketing at Zoo Hardware, said: “We are extremely proud of our team members for their achievements. The GAI qualifications are recognised worldwide as a benchmark of excellence in the architectural ironmongery profession. Investing in our team’s professional development ensures we maintain our high standards of technical expertise, product innovation, and customer support.”
