EnviroVent, the Harrogate-based manufacturer of ventilation solutions, is celebrating winning the prestigious ‘Innovative Product’ accolade at the Building Communities Awards 2020 for its ATMOS^® ventilation system.

ATMOS^® is one of the first whole house ventilation and condensation control PIV (Positive Input Ventilation) solution that offers installers and end users the ability to control functionality via an innovative app. By drawing in fresh, filtered and clean air from outside, ATMOS® dilutes, displaces and replaces moisture-laden air to control humidity levels.

The ventilation solution was recognised for its myriad of innovative features including the air quality sensor, AirSens®, which means occupants can monitor and control their air quality levels at all times.  ATMOS^®  was revealed to offer very low energy usage and proved to be much quicker and more straightforward to install, saving time for installation teams.

Shortlisted alongside four other leading manufacturers, EnviroVent was presented with the award at a special ceremony hosted by TV personality, actor and professional speaker Des Coleman at Athena conference & banqueting suite in Leicester.  The Innovative Product award was one of 10 awards presented at the ceremony, which also included Community Impact, Apprentice of the Year, Contractor of the Year and Project of the Year.

This is the second award that EnviroVent has won for its ATMOS^® solution, which achieved a H&V News award in 2019 for Best Domestic Ventilation Product of the year.

The Building Communities Awards are hosted by procurement consortium EEM Ltd, to recognise and celebrate professionalism, excellence and innovation within the housing and construction community.

The awards have built up a reputation for being one of the biggest and best events of its kind in the region, which is attended by almost 500 professionals. The black-tie evening included a drinks reception, a three-course meal, a charity auction and raffle, a cashless casino and a late-night DJ.

EnviroVent has a manufacturing plant for ventilation systems and a distribution site, located on two separate sites on Hornbeam Business Park in Harrogate. The company supplies some of the top UK housebuilders, as well as local authorities, housing associations and homeowners.
