Engineering firm completes work at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium

An ambitious engineering firm is delivering a major digital screen installation project at Manchester City’s iconic Etihad Stadium in time for the 2025-26 season.
Peacock Precision Services delivers civil engineering, construction and measurement projects across the UK.
The company’s roots are firmly in the North and it plans to open its first Manchester office in Deansgate to meet the increased demand for its services across the region.
The Peacock team were appointed to carry out surveying and installation work for new large-scale digital screens at the Etihad, home of ten-times English champions and 2023 European champions Manchester City.
Founded in Cumbria in 2018 by Managing Director Kieron Peacock, the company has quickly built a reputation for technical excellence, agility, and innovation in delivering infrastructure schemes across the UK.
The Etihad project further strengthens its presence in Manchester having already delivered survey work for a major new residential tower and provided engineering support for a city centre cycleway project.
Kieron said: “We are extremely proud to be part of this exciting development at the Etihad Stadium. It’s a landmark project in a city where we’ve already forged strong working relationships, and to be trusted with such a prominent and technically demanding installation at one of the most iconic football stadiums in Europe is a great endorsement of the standard of work our team delivers.
“It shows how far we have a come as a business over the last seven years. From surveying a single house on a one-plot development to working on a project at one of Europe’s top football stadiums.”
The installation of new giant digital screens is designed to enhance the matchday experience for football supporters for the 2025-26 season and other events held at the Etihad.
Peacock Precision’s role involves specialist preparation and structural works to enable the integration of the new screens within the stadium’s existing infrastructure.
The project also requires precision engineering and careful co-ordination with other stadium operations.
The Peacock team are on site this week, setting the steels so that the digital screens can be hung from the roof.
Kieron said: “Manchester is a city we’ve long admired for its pace of growth, ambition and engineering heritage.
“This project at the Etihad allows us to further demonstrate our commitment to delivering work in a place that continues to shape the future of UK infrastructure.
“Opening our Deansgate office will be another major step forward for us as a company and our work in the region.”
Since its formation, Peacock Precision has completed more than 1,000 projects, including major schemes on the M6 and A1, alongside housing and retail developments from Newcastle to Oxford.
