CPL, the UK access platform specialists have been awarded a Platinum partnership by vehicle manufacturer giants Isuzu.
Increased growth (more than double) in 2019, high quality and a long standing relationship are the main factors for Isuzu to choose CPL as their Platinum partners.
The relationship between the two companies has grown from strength to strength due to a commitment from the manufacturer to work with CPL to introduce to the market their innovative conversions on the D-Max.
When the production of the Defender ceased, CPL needed an alternative lightweight but powerful pick up to use for their conversion. Isuzu’s commitment and support made them CPL’s manufacturer of choice. CPL became the first approved converter for Isuzu in the UK and the first to receive approval from the VCA.
The CPL conversion is type approved with a 3.5t suspension upgrade and 7t GTW. It has a working height of 13.1m and a working outreach of 6.2m. The platform knuckle remains within the vehicles working envelope at all times which removes the posibility of being hit by oncoming vehicles when working at height on the highways.
CPL have also designed the ATAT mounted on an Isuzu D-Max. This chipper tipper has a 50 ° tipping body, a 1300Kg payload and a 180Kg capacity secure aluminum locker at the rear of the cab as standard. Not only is the CPL ATAT a great work horse, it is also a professional and neat looking conversion to give great first impressions when visiting new customers. CPL have sold a large number of these into the UK market and they are becoming a standard feature within Isuzu dealerships up and down the country.
