Clegg group donates £1,000 to help Sutton Coldfield sea scouts ride the waves

Midlands contractor Clegg Group has donated £1,000 to the 1st Sutton Coldfield Sea Scouts. The funds will be used to buy more paddle boards, supporting the Sea Scout Group’s goal to allow young people to learn new skills and have exciting experiences.

Based at Powells Pool in Sutton Park, the 1st Sutton Coldfield Sea Scouts are a Royal Navy Recognised Sea Scout Group, one of only 100 groups in the UK to hold this prestigious distinction.

Oliver Jenkins, business development manager at Clegg Food Projects – part of Clegg Group – said: “We’re delighted to donate £1,000 to the Sutton Coldfield 1st Sea Scouts. It’s great to support causes that are close to our hearts, and this donation is made possible thanks to our Employee Owned Trust.
