Forming a team of industry experts was pivotal in this journey. With continuous investment in research and development, this highly skilled team, with over 250 years of combined industry experience, helped design and develop a range of products that meet rigorous industry standards EN1090 and are manufactured to the CE mark. These products prioritise safety, speed of installation, and strength, and are supported by advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques and extensive load testing, resulting in high-performance equipment engineered with stronger materials such as S460 steel. This innovative use of materials optimises weight efficiency and boosts on-site performance, ensuring a safer and more efficient process.

We invested in hiring industry experts who shared our vision and brought invaluable knowledge and expertise to the table. This investment has played a crucial role in the development of our ground shoring products.”

The range of solutions was designed in close collaboration with contractors to meet the challenges faced on-site. The team developed tailored products that deliver superior performance while solving specific challenges. This collaboration led to the creation of a diverse range of products which boast many unique product features, making them faster, safer, and easier to install, including trench, manhole, and drag boxes, walers, bracing equipment, and tubular shoring systems.

Mark continues: “We didn’t want to design products in isolation; we wanted to ensure that what we were creating would genuinely solve problems for our customers. By working closely with contractors, we were able to design solutions that directly addressed the challenges they face on-site, and this collaboration has been fundamental to our success.”

Altrad RMD Kwikform has continued investing in research and development to create innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the industry. One of the latest standout innovations is the patent-protected Tubeshor ATC accessory, which reduces thermal loading by up to 90%, setting a new benchmark for safety and efficiency.

With ground shoring solutions available across four key regions, some of the company’s key projects have included the HS2 Euston Traction Sub Station in the UK, the Cross River Rail Station in Australia, the Sha Tau Kok Sewage Treatment Plant in Hong Kong, the Al Maryah Vista in the UAE, and the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in India.
