Citrus Training Strengthens Commitment to London And South East With £2m+ Flagship Capital Training Centre
Citrus Training is proud to announce the opening of its new flagship facility, Citrus Training London. Representing a £2m+ investment in the company’s growth and unwavering commitment to the sectors it serves, this move marks a bold step forward in raising training standards and driving workforce excellence across the UK. Opening in Autumn this year, the expanded capital facility significantly increases total capacity, delivers industry-leading practical spaces, and broadens course provision across London, Essex and the South East.
Elevating the Client and Delegate Experience
Moving operations from Brentwood to its new Citrus Training London hub marks a transformational step forward. Located just 20 minutes from its previous Brentwood location, the new facility at Farley House on Freshwater Road, Dagenham ensures continuity for existing clients while delivering substantial upgrades across the board:
- Extensive Site Redevelopment: Citrus Training is investing over £2m in a complete overhaul of the property – refurbishing the exterior to reflect its expanded course offering, redeveloping office spaces specifically tailored to delegate and operational training requirements, and creating modern delegate break-out areas.
- Dramatically Increased Square Footage: The move delivers a substantial expansion in total operational area, expanding from 15,000 to 63,600 sq ft, and providing the strategic scale required as Citrus Training’s key sectors gear up for future growth.
- State-of-the-Art Facilities: Engineered specifically for practical learning and hands-on skill development, the site features modern, climate-controlled classrooms and industry-leading practical training areas.
- Greater Daily Capacity: Built to comfortably accommodate over 120 delegates daily, the larger layout ensures greater course availability and flexible scheduling for client workforces.
- Expanded Course Portfolio: The site’s larger footprint enables Citrus Training to introduce new accredited disciplines and practical programmes from a single location such as Crane Operations and Lifting, Plant, NRSWA, Electrical and more.
- Unmatched Transport Connections: Situated in Dagenham, just a six-minute walk from Chadwell Heath Station on the Elizabeth line, the centre offers direct rail connections across Central London, Essex and the wider South East.
- Dedicated On-Site Parking: Designed with delegate convenience in mind, the new facility offers substantial on-site parking including EV charging facilities, complementing the centre’s direct Elizabeth line transport links.
Supporting Vital Sectors Across the Region
Citrus Training London reinforces the company’s deep commitment to the essential industries powering the UK economy. The new facility is purpose-built to serve the Built Environment, Construction, Highways, Utilities, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Services and Professional Disciplines.
“This major £2m+ investment in our new London hub reflects our absolute confidence in the future of the industries we support,” said Paul Tebbutt, Executive Director.
“Our customers demanded greater capacity and a far wider portfolio of courses from a single regional location – and we listened. Demand for skilled, competent professionals continues to rise across the built environment, construction, utilities and infrastructure. By redeveloping this larger site to match our clients’ exact needs, we are providing the space and accessibility required to develop workforces at scale.”
Strategic Investment Nationwide
The launch of Citrus Training London follows a period of major national expansion. Just last year, Citrus Training made a substantial investment in the North with the expansion of its Leeds training centre, establishing a new dedicated regional hub for northern industries. Combined with its established facility in Northamptonshire and a nationwide partner network of over 100 delivery locations, Citrus Training continues to blend national reach with local expertise.
Scheduled to open its doors this Autumn, Citrus Training London sets a new benchmark for workforce development – delivering the high-capacity, practical training London and the South East’s growing industries depend on.
