Delegate Booking Is Now Open for Fire Station Design and Construction Workshop 2026 Following Sell-Out Event

Construction professionals involved in fire station projects to come together to explore the challenges of delivering modern fire service infrastructure

Delegate booking is now open for the Fire Station Design and Construction Workshop (FSDW) 2026, returning on 12–13 October at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon, following a sold-out 2025 event.

The two-day conference brings together estates managers, facilities teams, architects, consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers to share practical insight into the planning, design, and delivery of modern fire stations and training facilities.

Last year’s workshop marked the event’s biggest year to date, with all tickets sold, exhibition space fully booked, and attendance increasing by 35% year-on-year. Delegates from 24 fire and rescue services joined more than 20 private sector organisations, reinforcing its position as a key event for those shaping fire service estates.

The 2026 programme will focus on the practical challenges involved in delivering modern fire station facilities, including sustainability decarbonisation requirements, estate modernisation, evolving operational needs, and emerging considerations such as PFAS contamination.

Sessions will include expert talks, project case studies, Q&A discussions, networking opportunities, and an exhibition featuring specialist products, technologies, and services relevant to the fire and rescue sector.

“Fire stations are highly specialised operational environments, and delivering successful projects requires close collaboration between fire services, consultants, contractors, and suppliers,” said Marcus Carter, Events Co-ordinator at SHW Events. “FSDW gives attendees the opportunity to better understand the sector’s challenges, learn from completed projects, and share practical insight that can improve future delivery.”

A key part of the event’s appeal is its collaborative format, with a strong emphasis on open discussion and knowledge-sharing between public and private sector attendees. This approach has helped establish FSDW as a must-attend event for professionals involved in fire station design, construction, and estate management.

With demand continuing to grow, the move to a larger venue for 2026 reflects both the event’s expansion and the increasing need for cross-industry collaboration in delivering modern fire service facilities.
