Morris Property Lifts Spirits on Blue Monday

Morris Property continues to support the wellbeing of its hardworking construction teams today on what is widely recognised as the most challenging day of the year – Blue Monday.

In the days leading up to Monday 19 January, the company delivered branded Blue Monday gift bags to its construction teams across the county. The initiative aims to bring comfort, connection, and a positive reminder to teams to look after both their mental and physical health during the winter months.

Each wellbeing bag included tea bags, coffee sachets and biscuits, a Morris Property branded mug, a branded fleecy JSP helmet liner for hard hats and motivational postcard. The campaign, “Mind Your Head – It’s Blue Monday”, encourages staff to take a moment for themselves and look out for one another.

This year’s campaign also features a specially illustrated Blue Monday hard hat design created by artist Luke Crump. Known for his bold, detailed “doodle” style, Crump’s work incorporates imaginative characters, thoughtful details and a touch of humour – elements that help bring positivity and creativity into everyday environments. His artwork, which spans murals, clothing, vehicles and bespoke illustration projects, aims to spark joy and conversation – making his contribution to the Blue Monday campaign a natural fit.

Contracts Manager, Steve Flavell commented: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do. Blue Monday is a timely reminder to check in with each other and take care of our wellbeing. These wellbeing bags are a small gesture of appreciation and an encouragement to spark positive conversations on site.”
