Vibration isolation takes centre stage at London Build: Mason UK to showcase floating floors, acoustic hangers and pipe connectors
London Build 2025
Mason UK will be exhibiting at London Build 2025, taking place at Olympia London from 19–20 November, where the company will showcase its latest vibration and acoustic isolation technologies for the construction industry. Visitors can find Mason UK on stand A24.
The Surrey-based company will be demonstrating a range of innovative vibration control products, including jack-up floating floors, acoustic hangers, and its distinctive “big spring” used for building isolation.
Also on display will be Safeflex pipe connectors and stainless steel connectors, which provide mechanical isolation to prevent the transmission of vibration through building services.
“Mason UK’s participation in London Build allows us to connect directly with the architects, engineers and contractors shaping the future of the built environment,” said Adam Fox, director at Mason UK. “We found last year’s event to be particularly valuable for the diversity of professionals it attracts, from MEP and structural engineers to design and build contractors. It’s an ideal opportunity to discuss the challenges of vibration control and share our practical experience from projects across the UK.”
“The floating floor system is one of Mason’s most recognisable innovations, and it has an interesting history,” explained Jordi Femenia, sales manager and engineer at Mason UK. “It actually originated in the 1960s when an engineer at Mason Industries faced a live TV studio full of elephants. The same engineering principle developed then is still in use today and it has distinctive benefits compared with alternative floor systems. Come and visit our stand and I can tell you the full history.”
As the UK agent for Mason Industries, Mason UK benefits from access to world-class manufacturing facilities and full control over its supply chain, placing it in a unique position in the UK market. This partnership enables the company’s UK-based engineers to provide technically advanced, reliable solutions for projects where acoustic and vibration performance are critical.
