Star Platforms Strengthens North West Presence with Depot Expansion

Star Platforms, a leading provider of powered access platforms, is excited to announce the expansion of its North West operational depot.

Now doubled in size, the strategically located, enhanced facility, is better equipped to support businesses across the region. This growth highlights the company’s dedication to delivering reliable service and high-quality powered access equipment hire solutions.

The expansion of the North West depot forms a key part of Star Platforms’ ongoing growth strategy, enhancing its ability to offer a broader range of powered access platforms while responding more efficiently to customer needs.

The larger, state-of-the-art facility now supports increased stock levels and streamlined logistics, with expanded capacity for eight HGVs ensuring faster delivery times and a smoother customer experience.

The enhanced depot will house a diverse fleet of powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and low-level access platforms.

It will also feature improved maintenance facilities to ensure all equipment meets the highest safety, performance, and reliability standards, and a dedicated IPAF training centre with an extended internal training space for operator training.

Richard continues: “This spring, we will be hosting a depot open day for both existing and new customers. We also plan to further enhance our services with the introduction of our sister company, Star Power, to the region in the coming months, offering their range of temporary power solutions.”

This strategic expansion underlines Star Platforms’ dedication to supporting businesses based and operating throughout the North West and beyond into North Wales, Lancashire and across the Pennines into Yorkshire, providing them with the tools and expertise they need to work safely and efficiently at height.
