After months of research, product design and stringent fire testing and assessments, voestalpine Metsec plc has launched its innovative new range of steel framing system (SFS) products.

Metsec recognised the need to increase the efficiency of SFS whilst reducing both the environmental impact and cost to customers.

With an industry focus on reducing waste in construction projects, architects are able to reduce any over-specification within a job and minimise product wastage at the same time as potentially increasing more useable floor area.

The new range can typically offer a 5-10% weight reduction as well as a 5-10% cost saving on a framing project.
